The Head of Nursing for Specialist Eating Disorder Services (SEDS) will provide nursing and operational leadership across the their span of leadership will also include allied health professional roles with the postholder having professional responsibility for both staff groups within SEDS.
They will advise on issues relating to nursing including professional standards and nursing resources.They will be responsible and accountable for ensuring compliance with fundamental standards and developing nursing improvements in line with local and national guidance and BWC nursing strategy.
The post holder will ensure that nursing practice is of a high quality and is focused on the organisation values, upholds the profession and demonstrates behaviours outlines in the 6 C's; care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment.
They will ensure that care is delivered with kindness, dignity and respect and the provision of a skilled and person centred nursing service to service users, carers and families.
