Butler Rose are delighted to be working with a Southwest based charity that due to growth, are now looking for a Procurement Lead to join the organisation.

The role is wide ranging in responsibility and will see the chosen individual tasked with the deliveryof a first class procurement service to aid the charities onward development, and to ultimately contribute to the increase of scope for the great work that this charity does

The role

This position will require the chosen individual to build on the already established work that has been carried out to date, by setting out further strategy across the organisation as well as managing various new and ongoing projects, as well as managementof areas of spend.

Duties are wide ranging and include the following:

Drive procurement decisions that are that lead to commercial advantage for the organisation
Set procurement strategy and policy for the organisation that achieves high ethical and sustainable purchasing
To take responsibility for negotiations and develop 'winwin' strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with key suppliers
Mentor and upskill junior team members to provide a wellrounded service to the organisation
Engage key stakeholders on projects to ensure best practice is carried out

About you

To be chosen for the role you must possess experience procuring a range of goods and services which are primarily indirect.

Salary £48,000 + Benefits
