About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Asset Update Team within Operational Performance.

Specifically this role will involve supporting a team who are responsible for the accurate capture of Cadent's asset data following operational activities in the field.

Playing a key role in providing daily operational support and expertise to the team.

The post holder will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative in a high-pressure environment.


Key Accountabilities

  • To support the capturing of asset data accurately and timely within the core systems through efficient utilisation of resources to meet key timescales (D14/D42).
  • Provide technical support to a team of administration assistants to enable the team to process asset updates to a required standard
  • Coordinate the daily workload, effectively prioritising on day work and additional tasks to ensure that all key SLA's are achieved.
  • Provide constructive and appropriate feedback to the team to ensure that they remain compliant with the required quality standards.
  • Documenting and maintaining local work procedures ensuring that the team are compliant with policies & procedures.
  • To be proactive in all aspects of the work and have the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Works closely with stakeholders and customers to develop effective relationships
  • Produce relevant reports and management information and ensure that these are distributed where required.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Team Leader.

About you

  • The post holder will be well organised, motivated, resourceful and can work accurately within tight deadlines and on their own initiative
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop self and others.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to business policies and procedures
  • Extensive working knowledge of either DR23 or DR4 and the performance measures that underpin these procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, alongside the ability to build strong working relationships within and outside the immediate team
  • Be a team player, able to work collaboratively with internal and external customers and stakeholders and support the team in various roles if required
  • Competent in the use of standard desktop packages, i.e. word and excel
  • Working knowledge of the processes carried out within Asset Update
  • Be motivated to learn new skills and tools and be flexible to deal with change
  • Selfaware and understands personal impact on others
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues within the process
