Description

PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR
(STRONG YOUNG MINDS PROGRAMME)
37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

Fixed term until May 24 with the possibility of extension.

Strong Young Minds is an innovative project that aims to break down the stigma of mental health in Herefordshire and provide a flexible range of services for children and young people aged

You will lead a small team of Personal Advisers, Mental Health Youth Workers and a Participation Worker, all working to reach out to young people who may feel isolated, disenfranchised and emotionally vulnerable.

You will be committed to the best outcomes for young people, have a determination to make a difference and a willingness to be creative.

In return you will receive regular supervision, support and guidance alongside excellent development opportunities.

This is a great opportunity to make your mark in an innovative and evolving service area.

Your experience may be in youth work, counselling, education, health or social care.

More important than your specific experience is your passion to improve mental health outcomes for our children and young people and to ensure they have a voice in the decisions that impact on their lives.
