The Role
The Client Advocate is responsible for a portfolio of law firm clients and prospects with accountability for the retention of clients and new business development.
- Communicate effectively with clients, associates, markets and others
- Liaise with clients and build strong relationships, lead and deliver the end to end ongoing client service
- Proactively develop appropriate solutions and proposals for clients
- Assist with and design programme and pricing structures
- Check policies, market presentations and client documentation
- Manage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are adhered to
- Grow existing portfolio by delivering high levels of client services
- Understand a client or prospect's business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues
- Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients and prospects
- Responsibility for supporting the drive of the sales process and business area practice
- Deliver optimisation of revenue from new and existing clients
- Respond quickly and accurately to new business introductions
- Support the BU in accurate budgeting, forecasting and tracking of revenue
- Actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services
- Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international markets
The Requirements
- Preferably ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualification
- Preferably educated to degree level or relevant industry experience
- Experienced practitioner in professional indemnity insurance for law firms, who is seen as a trusted advisor by existing clients
- Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists
- Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service
- Track record of developing new business opportunities
- Experienced knowledge of insurance markets globally
- Ability to represent the practice and WTW with integrity and credibility
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery
