Neurodisability Service

Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability - 7PAs Applications are invited for a substantive consultant post in Neurodisability at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The Neurodisability service provides a comprehensive, tertiary paediatric neurodisability service within the paediatric neurosciences department of GOSH. The post has arisen following alterations to existing consultant roles.


The post includes sessions in the Neurodevelopmental Assessment clinic (assessment of children with developmental difficulties including social communication concerns, the Developmental Vision clinic (assessment of children whose development is impacted by visual impairment), the Dysphagia Service (assessment of children with feeding difficulties of neurological origin) and Developmental Epilepsy Clinic (assessmentof children whose development is impacted by complex epilepsy).

All teams are multidisciplinary in nature.

There is no on-call commitment for this post.


The neurodisability service has a referral base in North Thames, as well as providing a number of services at a national level.

The service has strong clinical and research links with secondary level services, other specialties in the hospital and the UCL Institute of Child Health.
