Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Rotherham - £34,561 (inclusive of £2,600 Attendance Bonus) + Overtime

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a highly successful and growing manufacturer in Rotherham who are looking to recruit an 18th Edition Qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

As Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will work within a team and will be responsible for providing all maintenance to machinery ensuring that levels of production are not affected.

The work will be a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:


  • Conduct electrical repairs to breakdown of machinery and equipment
  • Planning and prioritising maintenance workload to ensure production targets are reached
  • Maintain job completion records through cloudbased system, with an understanding of using tablets
  • Working with a bespoke computer based maintenance program, carrying out maintenance / work requests in a timely manner
  • Set up machinery when product changes are required ensuring that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased
  • Ensure focus on Health & Safety at all times
  • Report any issues to senior management

Hours:
Monday to Friday - Rotating Shift Patterns (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 6am)


Required Skills & Experience:


  • 18th Edition Qualified (Essential)
  • Experience of working within an Automated Production environment (Desirable)
  • Able to work on own initiative and with a small team depending on business needs
  • Work under pressure and coordinate with management to ensure workflow demands are met
  • Forward and methodical thinker
  • Basic understanding of safety for themselves and others around them
