Counted recruitment are currently recruiting a
Interim Head of Financial Accounting and Compliance for a great
Servicebusiness based in
Birmingham city centre. The role will see you play a crucial part in a fantastic finance team.


This is a 6-9 month contract paying £400 - £600 a day depending on experience.
Main duties of this
Head of Financial Accounting and Compliance role include:

  • To take the lead on accounting processes and controls within the UK and EMEA
  • Maintain and develop a Risk Control Framework for the business
  • To provide technical expertise on all financial reporting and controls, providing updates to the UK and EMEA
  • Manage key balance sheet control accounts and all relevant reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for controlling all intercompany accounts
  • Manage the production of Statutory Accounts and consolidation
  • Make sure all external financial reporting requirements are met
  • Responsible for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting
  • Responsible for Working Capital reporting

Location / Office / Hours
A friendly service business with a large, sprawling finance team, this role has a real future.

The company offer hybrid working and expect you to be in the office 3 days and at home 2 days.
