The Neuro Therapy Centre is seeking a Band 5 Counsellor to join its dynamic expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to work for the Neuro Therapy Centre providing services for people living with a long-term neurological condition and their Carers.

Neuro Therapy Centre counsellors offer screening, assessment, and treatment for mental health problems, offering our members a greater degree of treatment choice and flexibility by providing 1:1 and group counselling to members with conditions and their Carers by providing services on and off site.

Applicants should have a proven track record of delivering high quality service with 350hrs of counselling delivered post qualification in addition to having excellent interpersonal qualities; time management skills; an ability to work autonomously; and an enthusiasm for working with people living with a neurological condition and their Carers.

Having experience in working with people with disabilities and their Carers is an advantage and delivering CBT is desirable. You should also have knowledge and experience of safeguarding procedures.

Location:
The Neuro Therapy Centre, Chester

Hours: 17.5 hours per week, between Monday - Friday, days and times to be agreed

Salary:
Band 5, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays

£34,580.00 per year
