The General and Vascular Surgery Directorate is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and conscientious team player to join the service as an Administrator for Vascular Surgery.
The Vascular Surgery is based across three sites (St Mary's Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital) and is composed of multi-disciplinary teams who deliver 18,500 outpatient appointments, 960 day cases, 370 elective admissions and 720 non-elective admissions annually.
We are also the only centre in London and the South of England to provide open thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair using techniques such as left heart bypass and full motor and sensory spinal monitoring.
The post holder duties will entail:
Prioritise those that are important or need completion at a sooner date.
Help provide cover for the other departmental administrators during busy periods, sickness and annual leave and where there is an imbalance of workload.
Understand and adhere to all Trust policies, guidelines and procedures.
Support the Trust in providing the best experience possible for each of our patients.
To maintain confidentiality in respect of information obtained at all times.
The Directorate offers a broad range of experience and the opportunity to build and develop skills required to move forward to a more senior role.
Hence, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills who has the ability to work well as part of a large multidisciplinary team.
