Our client is a well established, family run business based in Great Blakenham are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

As Logistics Coordinator, you will help organise and manage a diverse range of responsibilities to support the smooth running of the Transport and Admin operation.

Responsibilities

Planning and controlling outbound logistics to customers considering operational resource/restrictions
Order processing and confirmation.
Liaise with Customers, Customs and Hauliers ensuring all documents are received within the designated time frame.
Liaising with the Transport department in terms of scheduling and transport compliance.
Completing Export customs clearance and Annex VII to ensure loads can be shipped
Manage the export process from start to finish, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key customers
Resolving servicerelated queries and invoice/charge queries on behalf of the customer with the support of the finance and sales team.
Carry out various administrative tasks, including preparing and handling all relevant documentation
Updating customer details on our CRM system
Establish and develop good working relationships with all stakeholders, including Customers, Drivers, Transport Manager, the Sales team, and thirdparty contractors

Skills Required

Experience in scheduling.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Be able to work in a team and solely.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively.
Experience in working to tight deadlines.
Assertive
Good attention to detail
Good geographical knowledge of the local area
Good PC skills Essential knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook & Teams

Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 5:15; Friday 08:30 - 5:00
Salary

c£28,000 depending on experience
