Our client is a well established, family run business based in Great Blakenham are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team.


As Logistics Coordinator, you will help organise and manage a diverse range of responsibilities to support the smooth running of the Transport and Admin operation.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and controlling outbound logistics to customers considering operational resource/restrictions
  • Order processing and confirmation.
  • Liaise with Customers, Customs and Hauliers ensuring all documents are received within the designated time frame.
  • Liaising with the Transport department in terms of scheduling and transport compliance.
  • Completing Export customs clearance and Annex VII to ensure loads can be shipped
  • Manage the export process from start to finish, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key customers
  • Resolving servicerelated queries and invoice/charge queries on behalf of the customer with the support of the finance and sales team.
  • Carry out various administrative tasks, including preparing and handling all relevant documentation
  • Updating customer details on our CRM system
  • Establish and develop good working relationships with all stakeholders, including Customers, Drivers, Transport Manager, the Sales team, and thirdparty contractors
Skills Required

  • Experience in scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be able to work in a team and solely.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Experience in working to tight deadlines.
  • Assertive
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good geographical knowledge of the local area
  • Good PC skills Essential knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook & Teams
Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 5:15; Friday 08:30 - 5:00
Salary

c£28,000 depending on experience
