Morestarts is proud to be working with a well-established client based in Mansfield, who are a leading provider of design and manufacture services for the UK rail industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To read engineering drawings for parts to be Fabricated/Welded
To fabricate, assemble and weld components to the correct quality levels and set timescales
To perform Welding/Plating tasks
To ensure correct marking up of components parts
To build fabricated assemblies as instructed
Ability to assemble and Weld using jigs
To ensure full compliance with works documentation, health and safety procedures, and requirements at all times
To maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness at all times
MIG welder with past coding experience (will undergo welder qualification/coding at start of employment).
TIG welding experience advantage but not essential
Overhead crane experience/qualification advantageous.
Abrasive wheel experience/qualification advantageous.
Understanding of

Welding Standards:
BS EN 1090-1, 3834-2,

Salary and Shifts:

£13-15ph dependant on level of experience

Monday to Thursday 07:1- 16:00 / Fridays 07:15 -15:00

33 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays)

Overtime available. Rates are x1.3 Weekdays and x1.5 Saturdays
