Newstaff are looking for an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with an outstanding primary school in Milton Keynes.

Initially the position will be on a temporary basis with a view to be longer term. This will be a full time post Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. The school would like the support to start after the Easter break.


The ideal person will be:

  • An experienced, hard working SEN teaching Assistant.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable supporting children with Autism and other complex challenging needs.
  • Have a calm, compassionate and patient nature.
  • Be enthusiastic, creative and able to adapt to difficult situations.
  • Experience working with students on a 1:1 basis
  • Have relevant SEN qualifications or attended SEN courses.
  • Be proactive and helpful within school.
  • Ideally be on the DBS update service.
