We are currently seeking a experienced Installation supervisor to join us at Siemens Mobility - Rail Infrastructure.

About your role
As the Signalling Installation Supervisor will supervise railway signalling installation work undertaken by allocated staff and contractors with projects I and around Wales and the west country.
Your role will however be based at our Chippenham office so travel and working away will be a requirement for the role due to the nature of the projects.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Organise and plan work to maximise utilisation of resources and ensure daily task sheets are completed in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Organise and control the work undertaken by allocated staff and contractors and ensure that it is carried out safely.
- Responsible for managing the personal safety and administration of allocated staff and contractors.
- Responsible for ensuring that tools and equipment are secure, in a sensible condition and are returned to the controlling organisation when not required.
- Carryout safety and quality audits on SMO installation staff and agency subcontractors.
- Responsible for the briefing of instructions to staff under control or allocated for such purpose.
- Responsible for checking and certifying timesheets ensuring correct hour booking and appropriation.
- Responsible for timekeeping and discipline of allocated staff.
- Work as directed by the Installation Manager.
What qualifications/ skills will you need for the role?
- IRSE v1 Signalling Supervisor license
- PTS with COSS/SWL
- Emergency First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Must hold current driving license
- SSSTS
