Description

Red Recruitment 24/7 are currently seeking an experienced Farmer to work at our Client's farm in Spalding. This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional company and undertake a great, exciting role.

Typical duties:


  • Maintaining optimum environmental conditions to ensure animal welfare and biosecurity practices are maintained
  • Ensuring site maintenance and general standards are met and completed
  • Supervising staff and third parties whilst on site, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures
  • Complying with legislative and assurance scheme standards
  • Maintaining accurate records as stipulated (goods and services received, generator, alarm logs, crop records, medication register, accident book etc.)
  • Operating the farm within effective cost management parameters
  • Ensuring that high standards of animal welfare, hygiene and husbandry practice are maintained
  • Working on other farm sites, as and when needed

About you:


  • Previous farming experience
  • Previous management experience
  • Able to work flexible hours when necessary

Hours and pay:


  • Salary starts at £23,800 + bonus scheme
  • Up to 44 hours a week (typically hours)
