The Opportunity:

To produce a visually appealing digital guide for students interested in careers within the creative and cultural sectors.

The post-holder will help research and create this bespoke resource about careers within creative and cultural industries, using design tools to generate engaging and interesting content.

They will be collaborating with members of the Careers Service to produce an interactive guide that aligns with the sections of our Careers Compass framework.

The intention is for this web resource to have a modern and creative feel, appealing to students aspiring to work in a creative or cultural field.


Programme information


This internship is part of the on Campus programme which is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools.

It offers exclusive summer internships at the University over the summer for 2nd year to penultimate-year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK.

As well as great work experience, the Careers Service provides supporting resources, this is combined with a framework to support the development of participants' employability and self-reflection with an Edinburgh Award as part of the internship.

You cannot take part if you are a visiting student, or you have already taken part in the programme before.

Expected commencement date
:
June 3rd week internship)

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
