GLL, the UK's largest public leisure and cultural services provider is looking for a customer-focussed Concierge Team Member at South Norwood Leisure Centre in Croydon.

As a Concierge, you'll be the first person our customers see so you'll know you only get that one chance to make a great impression.

People who use Better leisure centres come from all walks of life, are of all ages and all abilities, so the skill of making everyone feel welcome and confident will be what you pride yourself on.

Working as a Concierge, you'll greet people and ensure they're getting the best out of our leisure facilities on the best membership / price point available to them.

You'll need to know our service offerings inside out; be it membership types, classes and lessons and even the most delicious food to order from our Better Coffee Corners.

In essence, you'll be a one-stop-shop for our customers, giving them all the information they need - and some they don't know they need - to help them make the most of our UK-wide facilities and their time with us.


It goes without saying that you'll be great with people and although you don't need to come from a leisure background (we'll train you in that), if you have cash-handling experience, know how to give great advice and close sales, you could find yourself at the start of a long-term career with us; the possibilities really are endless for those who are eager to learn all about our business and culture.

Your can-do attitude and commitment to making a difference to customers will not only positively affect the communities that we work with - but you'll also be a great role model for your colleagues.
