The SIT Functional Lead (18 Month Fixed Term Contract) will be accountable for assuring that the supplier delivers the MHHS SIT phase as agreed by the SRO function.

This will include assurance of all preparatory activities as well as Test execution.


The MHHS Programme has an extensive Industry test phase that includes aspects such as Functional, Non-Functional, Operational & Migration Testing involving all programme stakeholders which spans the entire electricity market.

The test activity including the preparation, coordination and execution will be undertaken by the supplier, however the SRO Function has the responsibility to assure the delivery of the Test function.

This role will focus on assurance of the supplier with through the preparation and execution phases of programme as well as providing steer and guidance through the process.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for assuring supplier with particularly focus on SIT Test Phases.

This will include but not limited to:

  • Assurance of all outcomes and deliverable agreed within the contract
  • Assurance of SI Testing preparatory activities
  • Review of all SI test deliverables
  • Act as the liaison between the supplier Test Function and the Client Test Manager, using the Client Test Manager as the escalation for any issues/concerns
  • Assure that the SI Test Assurance function is undertaken to the agreed standards for both Pre-Integration Testing and SIT Functional Testing
  • Providing the Client Test Manager the confidence that all aspects of the SI Test function are progressing to plan
  • Responsible for reporting into the wider SRO function on SIT Functional Testing
  • Work with industry parties and the contracted supplier to ensure programmes outcomes are being met
  • Work across the wider programme team, including SRO colleagues to ensure programme outcomes are achieved

  • Assurance of the supplier highlights and mitigates any concern related to delivery effectiveness

  • Elexon's standards for producing requirements are adhered to enabling a successful solution.
  • Ensure a successful delivery by effective assurance of the supplier.
  • Assure that all areas of improvements identified are addressed and implemented
  • Capabilities and expression of Elexon values are rated positively by colleagues in 360 feedback.
  • Demonstration of confidence, selfdrive, enthusiasm, reliability and strong ownership of issues/problems.
  • A proactive approach to surpassing our customers' expectations and understanding of the wider implications of customer requirements
