This growing innovative organisation are recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant to join their team.
This is a newly created role due to company growth and you will be joining an expanding organisation that has more than doubled their turnover& headcount in the last 12 months.
This role will be predominately office based and this is a great role for an ambitious & versatile individual who is looking for their next challenge.
Management Accountant - About the Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Director and will be working within a finance team of 3.
You will be responible for the production of the monthly management accounts whilst also assisting the Financial Controller with the daily runningof the accounts department.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts including all balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss schedules.
- Production of accurate and timely monthly divisional accounts.
- Variance Analysis of month end figures including margin and overheads.
- Continuous management of accruals, prepayments, provisions, and fixed asset register.
- Working closely with the FC to maintain accuracy of invoice coding.
- Completion of year end audit files and year end liaison with external auditors.
- Responsibility for completion of national statistics as and when required.
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns.
- Assisting within the department on any other duties as required.
The successful Management Accountant will have:
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant position
- ACCA/CIMA part qualification status
- Experience within an SME organisation would be advantageous
- Good Excel skills
