Description

Our client, a leading logistics company is currently seeking an EU Transport Clerk for their team in Dartford.

As the EU Transport Clerk, your role will be to help run the European export operations, processing collection orders and deal with all customer requests.

Other duties of the EU Transport Clerk:

Ensure all relevant information is added onto the company system
Organise and process delivery notes
Ensure trunk vehicles and one way export trailers are prepared and despatched correctly
Liaise with other departments such as the Warehouse, transport Department and Export Customer Services on a daily basis
Process customs envelopes
Carrying out compatibility checks on dangerous goods

The successful EU Transport Clerk will have previous experience working in an International Road Freight environment, and good geographical knowledge.

You will ideally have some customs knowledge and good commercial awareness.
