AJ Chambers is delighted to be working with a leading mid-size West End firm who are seeking a corporate associate (
1-3 PQE) to join their corporate and commercial team. The firm has successes with a variety of clients,including start-ups, SMEs, CEOs, large multinational compnies and early-stage growth companies in sectors such as real estate, hospitality, food and drink, leisure, media, tech and finance.

The corporate and commercial team directs its focus into funding and general corporate advice on seed capital fundraising through to pre-IPO, joint ventures, commercial agreements and clients wishing to establish businesses in the UK, among a variety ofother matters.

In M&A, it's typical for the team to handle deals up to £100m, as well as advising on terms of trade, contractual agreements, acquisitions or disposals etc.

The Role

Providing an excellent level of service on a range of corporate matters, including but not limited to:
M&A
Private Equity
Equity Capital Raising
Demergers
Commercial Agreements
Capital Markets (AIM)
Contributing to corporate/commercial transactions
Drafting, amending and negotiating documents (including shareholder arrangements)
Business development
Commercial contract drafting skills
Strong academic background (2:1 degree or equivalent)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
Personable approach with clients and colleagues alike
Ambitious growth mindset
