SO, WHAT'S THE STORY?


Based in our Camden HQ, our Marketing Creative Team is a function of the Global Marketing department and provides an in-house design, art working and asset creation resource for the Dr.

Martens brand.


The role of the Marketing Creative team is to work in collaboration with the Global Brand team, Consumer Marketing team and selected agencies to help deliver seasonal campaigns and product marketing assets across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring that the brand look and feel is consistent and of the highest standard.

Reporting to the Group Communications Creative Lead you will work on a wide variety of graphic design projects with our central business teams assisting other members of the Marketing Creative team when required.

As our Assistant Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating on-brand company templates (PowerPoint, Word) for brand teams and other business functions
  • Designing advertisements for Recruitment activities (print and digital) for DM's Global Social Channels and retail stores and the co
  • Assisting with the design of business reports
  • Assisting with Creative Concepts and development for internal development initiatives, leadership programmes and culture activities
  • Career site creative maintenance
  • Seasonal B2B product catalogues
  • Creative art working for press releases, mailers and our consumer marketing channels where required

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
***Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:
  • Prior experience or education in graphic design (both print and digital spaces) with a strong design portfolio demonstrating this. Commercial design experience is advantageous.
  • An understanding of print processes and materials
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and photoshop
  • Proficiency in video editing software, i.e Premier Pro
  • Visual and verbal presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of and genuine interest in the fashion and retail industries and the Dr. Martens brand
  • A genuine interest and appreciation for music, arts and culture
