Description

The Referrals Co-ordinator will manage all activities relating to the referral process and must have experience in a customer-focused environment.

This is a full-time, site-based role (Hartwell, Northampton hours per week.
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
If you are required to work additional hours, time off in Lieu (TOIL) will be provided.


Salary & Benefits:


  • Salary circa £30k per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the referral process from enquiry through to admission of patients and residents in a timely and effective manner
  • Record all enquires and referrals and update daily.
  • Liaise with Hospital/Care Home Managers regarding preadmission assessments and subsequent findings.
  • Ensure that all assessment reports are completed with costings and sent to referrers in line with the company's referral policy timescales.
  • Ensure events relating to planned admissions are well communicated to all relevant staff.
  • Update the CRM database to ensure stakeholder information is current, to support marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain uptodate information relating to alternative providers.
  • Seek new referral contacts and purchasing contacts
  • Maintain resident confidentiality/data protection in line with unit and policy.

  • A minimum of 2 years customer services experience
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Microsoft suite experience
  • Able to liaise with people on all levels
  • Able to work on own initiative with mínimal supervision
  • Be comfortable presenting information in large meetings
  • Confident to manage a process that requires a robust approach to policy
