The vacancy
We are looking for an Assistant Principal - Apprenticeships and Adult Education


Reporting directly to the Deputy Principal and will be responsible for the Group's Adult Education and Apprenticeships provision at all sites.

You will have experience of managing significant volumes of ESFA funded provision (including apprenticeship provision)

This is a critical role within the college group driving performance across all apprenticeships and adult education provision.


This role will encourage innovation to simultaneously drive quality and growth through outstanding service to our learners and employer-customers, through high quality delivery, reporting and use of technology.


You will provide leadership across the group for the management of the quality delivery of apprenticeships and adult education provision and ensuring our learners gain positive outcomes that benefit the local economy through skills development aligned with local labour market needs.


You will ensure that all aspects are delivered to the highest possible standards whilst meeting the requirements of learners, employers, funding bodies, the Institute for Apprentices and Technical Education (IFATE) and Ofsted.

The LET's Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft.

Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
