Job Title:
Management Accountant


Pay Bracket:
£40,000 - £50,000 Negotiable DOE

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme, free parking on site


This is an excellent opportunity with Four Recruitment to join a long-established and well-known business based in Bacup as a Management Accountant - offering an ideal location for those based in either Burnley or Rochdale.


The position is commercial in focus, working with various departments across the organisation and offers a mixture of responsibility between month end duties and analysis work - enabling the business to perform at its best and giving you the autonomy tomake real changes and improvements.


Your main roles and responsibilities:


  • Intercompany monthly reconciliations
  • Managing and preparing group consolidated accounts
  • Management of central overhead cost and accounts
  • Forecasting profit and loss
  • VAT returns
  • Excel modelling and Cashflow forecasting
  • Business partnering within the organisation, working closely with the operational side of the business, including supply chain and procurement
A good fit for this position will be someone who is ambitious and always looking to learn.

We are looking for someone who is sharp with an analytical mindset, close attention to detail and someone who is committed to their professional development.


  • Minimum experience of 2 years within a role of a similar level
  • Strong ability within Excel confident in formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, and building reports, macros knowledge is advantageous
  • Exposure to an ERP system such as SAP is highly advantageous but not essential
  • A friendly personality to work well within a larger group function
  • Confidence in working independently and adapting quickly
  • A strong academic background
  • Finalist / Newly Qualified
