Join us as a Product Control Governance & Assurance Manager- As a Product Control Governance & Assurance Manager, you'll be responsible for the oversight and assurance of the reported NatWest Markets Financials in the NatWest Markets Finance team

What you'll do
In this role, you'll be responsible for the NatWest Markets balance sheet, performing monthly review and attestation on the reported numbers.
You'll work with teams across our organisation to gain an understanding of the reporting issues, presenting your findingsto the Finance Senior Leadership team while overseeing the project work required to remediate issues.
We'll look to you to continuously improve the control environment while working with our global teams to embed these improvements.
There will also be an opportunity to work closely with the NatWest Markets revenue and risk teams. This will provide an understandingof different business trading strategies, as well as a detailed understanding of P&L drivers.Additionally, you'll be required to partner with our business, providing value added support and SME knowledge in relation to business performance.
You'll gain valuable exposure to senior management, as you work autonomously to maintain a robust control environmentand meet strategic objectives.
You'll also:
- Provide product control advice and support across the Finance function
- Keep uptodate on regulatory changes and understand the impact on the product and our business
The skills you'll need
You'll need to have an in-depth knowledge of relevant products for this role, alongside good problem-solving and analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills will also be critical for this role, as will your influencing and negotiation skills.
You'll also need:
- To be a qualified accountant
- Relevant experience in a product control role or function
- Indepth knowledge of accounting reporting standards
