Our client - A market leader in the insurance sector looking for a Sustainability & Financial Reporting Manager who will be responsible for managing a team to ensure the financial reporting and ESG reporting to the Group and locally are delivered on timewith appropriate quality as well as completing all statutory accounts for all companies.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of 3 staff and create a culture of collaboration, excellence and professional growth.
  • Ensure Group reporting deliveries are submitted and reviewed, this includes actuals, forecast, excel pack deliveries and additional note deliveries.
  • Ensure quarterly audit files are produced, reviewed and signed off.
  • Support in the setting up of our ESG processes & reporting
  • Ensure that all ledgers are either IFRS or local GAAP compliant.
  • Develop relationships with key contacts within the Syndicate, IDCs and Group to facilitate the effective performance of objectives.
  • Ensure company policies & procedures and systems are followed and relevant documents are kept up to date.

Who we are looking for:


  • 10+ years of experience in financial and ESG reporting.
  • Must have a university degree in accounting and finance or relevant professional qualification.
  • Must have Accountancy qualifications ACCA, CIMA, ACA.
  • Good technical knowledge of IFRS & UK GAAP.
  • Extensive organization skills including team and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
