Accounts Payable/Transactional Team Manager // Manchester City Centre // £35,000-38,000
Would you like to manage a team for a high profile brand that offers really fantastic benefits such as private healthcare and the option to work an agile 35 hour week ?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a household name in Manchester City Centre.

This person must have exposure to managing a team.

Supported by two specialists, you look after a large team of accounts payable assistants and will be responsible for leading and motivating them to deliver exceptional service in line with KPIs and Service Level Agreements.

Duties:

Lead the team to ensure invoices are paid accurately and in line with agreed timescales
Be a strong and inspirational leader and support your team with progression and challenges
Deal with any complex escalations that cannot be managed by the Senior Associate
Work to ensure processes are as efficient as possible, suggesting and implementing improvements
Manage and monitor the employee expenses in line with given guidelines
Ensure excellent relationships with key stakeholders, with a focus on exceptional service levels
Oversee documentation of process notes and ensure up to date and that process guidelines are adhered to
Work with the team, empowering them to constantly reflect on practice and suggest improvements

Experience:

Previous experience working within an AP team in a medium to large business
Exposure to high volumes of invoices
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of the P2P process
Customer focused approach
Transactional team management experience
