Aviation Security X-ray Cargo Screening Team Leader
Responsible for a small group of employees, ensuring compliance and management of the 18:00pm-00:00am shift Monday to Thursday and 18: Friday

You will be required to work Sunday to Thursday on a rota every 6 weeks.

Flexibility required

Your responsibilities:

Prepare and prioritize workload for the team

Monitor performance and adherence to aviation security compliance of the shift and reassign duties as appropriate

Ensure service targets are maintained within specified deadlines

Respond to changing priorities as dictated by security and operational requirements

Create and maintain daily reports regarding compliance and performance targets

Playing an active role in the Employee Relations and skills development of your team

Ad hoc duties as required to support the rest of the management team

Your skills:

Current Cargo Operative (Level D) or COS (Level E) preferred

Understanding of Aviation Security processes and procedures

Understanding of CAA SCD Cargo Chapters 6 and 11

Excellent communication skills

Well organized and ability to prioritize

Leadership and motivational skills

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Good problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude

5 year background check, including Criminal Records Check will be required.
