The main purpose of the Senior Property Officer role is to be responsible for the supervision of the seized and Found Property function across West Mercia force area.

Ensuring an efficient approach to all aspects of seized and found property to include the property Management System, policy and procedures, training, audits.

Health and Safety, performance and cost effective disposal methods and archiving of files and records, in accordance with Financial Regulations, Accounting Instructions and MOPI guidelines.

This role can be based in either Hereford, Kidderminster, Shrewsbury, Telford or Worcester:


  • Due to the nature of this role it will involve travel across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire & Telford
