The Market Service Owner is required to be fully cross-functional, and be able to focus on the key priorities at the right time.
You will be responsible for building great relationships with customers across global markets, production sites and third party freight service suppliers.
Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will operate effectively in a highly process-driven environment.The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Developing and maintaining outstanding relationships with key market contacts and service providers thus ensuring an excellent understanding and delivery of the markets requirements.
- Demonstrating a good understanding of your markets' unique requirements and products, and will be capable of resolving all export issues.
- Managing all freight processes to ensure appropriate services are selected at optimum cost. Identify special pre-shipment requirements. You will be also responsible for PO creation, billing and freight quoting.
- Experience working in a logistics environment. Ideally within exports, and be fully conversant with freight documentation and terminology.
- Solutions orientated and have dedication to overcome obstacles and get results.
- Experience in building great relationships will be essential.
- Working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage as well as general skills such as Word and Excel.
- Have a one team attitude and enjoy collaborative working with the wider business and team to end results are achieved in line with business objectives.
