About The Role:

We are now looking to recruit two

Online Tutors to join our MA Sustainable Fashion (Online) team in the Fashion and Textiles Institute to teach onto Module 2, titled Re-Make which runs from January to May. The module critiques the purpose of design through the context of the climate and biosphere emergency and asks you to define how responsible materials and fashion products can be designed using regenerative practices that stay within planetary boundaries and to do no harm to ecosystems or animals.

Online Tutors are vital to the success and vibrancy of our online courses.

Tutors are a constant presence in the module, the first point of contact for students' academic enquiries and supporting their learning activities.

The module is primarily asynchronous (not undertaken in real-time), online tutors log in and tend to the activities in the module at multiple points during the day and study week (including weekends).


Each Online Tutor for this module will be allocated 160 hours to support up to 30 students with learning, assessment and feedback, working January 2024 to May 2024.


About You:


You will have evidence of professional visual arts practice and a demonstrable engagement with, and interest in, the dialogues, debates and concepts surrounding contemporary arts and culture.

Previous experience teaching online would also be an advantage.

You will be well organised, have excellent communication skills, and the commitment to deliver an excellent online learning experience for students.
