THE COMPANY:

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


We are looking for a diligent Financial Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement, preferably with previous experience within an eCommerce business.

This is a new role in the business and you will be required to support with the financial control, reconciliation of the balance sheet, management accounts production and other external reporting.

As the Financial Accountant, you will report directly to theCFO.


You'll need to be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines at once, liaising with suppliers, Senior Management team members and our Taiwan based Headquarters.


THE ROLE ITSELF:
For this role you will;

  • Develop good communication to leverage all areas of the business, using tact and diplomacy you will develop a strong relationship with suppliers.
  • Use Excel and interpreting financial management accounts information where required.
  • Have an extremely high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Reconciling internal systems which will require a large degree of external data and ensuring all invoices from suppliers have been received.
  • Maintaining regular communication with external vendors will be a daytoday activity, and you should have confidence in questioning invoice items and/or pricing.
  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of internal control procedures performing relevant tasks in relation to the balance sheet.
  • Assisting in monitoring and forecasting cash flow and maintain management controls and bank position.
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Supporting the CFO in the delivery of the monthly management accounts.

  • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant or an individual completing the final stages of their professional examinations.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • High interpersonal fluency and ability to negotiate with external partners
  • Accuracy and timeline management
  • You must be technically astute and proactive in your approach have good attention to detail to deliver a firstclass financial service to key stakeholders.
  • Logical and systematic approach to work schedule
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Office skills
  • Demonstrate analytical and problemsolving skills
