Vibe Recruit are looking for a
CNC
Machine Operator to work with our client who are based in the Rumney area of Cardiff.

Working Hours:

40 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm.
Plus 8-hour overtime shifts offered on a Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm.

Job Duties:

To operate CNC profiling machines such as Waterjet Cutter and to carry out routine operator maintenance on the machine.
Work as a member of the production team on any task that you have been trained in.
Accept responsibility for the quality of the work you produce.
Comply with health & safety, housekeeping, environmental, quality, and human resources policies and procedures.
Record the quantity produced and materials used accurately.
Train other team members to operate equipment or carry out production tasks safely, and to the required quality standards.
Learn new skills as required so that the production team can be flexible.
Ensure that your workplace is maintained in a safe and tidy condition.
Ensure you understand the risk assessments and safe working practices.
Carry out machinery checks and preventive maintenance as requested.

Hourly Rate:

£11.37 per hour (£23,600 per annum)
Increasing to £11.76 (£24,460) following successful probation period.
Plus Friday's overtime shift paid at 1.5 (£17 per hour).
