Screen Printer/Maker

Salary:
£10.42 to £11.70 based on experience

Shift:
Monday to Friday am to 3-30 pm Overtime = X 1.25 in the week = X 1.5 on a Saturday

Duties:

Screen printing using correct machines
Check the approved visuals on all orders prior to printing.
Quality check mugs and/or print at each stage of the process.
Mix colours to agreed standards mínimalizing waste of materials.
Record colour mixes on the route card.
To only use premium cost colours with approval of Production Manager.
Check delivery dates on the job bags and ensure orders and samples are produced to those times.
If the date has passed or no dates are specified this must be escalated to

the sales office or Production Manager for confirmation on required time scales for
customers.

Report any delays to delivery dates to the sales office and Production Manager (as

appropriate) to ensure the customer is updated.

To ensure that in the case of repeat orders the previous job bag is checked an the same colour mix used. Any queries should be escalated to the Production Manager or sales office where appropriate.
To assist in other factory duties as requested by the Production Manager including but not limited to:
Loading and unloading containers or other goods in arrivals.
Packing/Despatch duties.
Loading and Unloading Kilns.
General factory work including tidying and cleaning equipment.
