12hrs per week £14 per hour

Hi, my name is Fraser, and I am looking for a Personal Assistant to work as part of a small team in providing daily support within the family home and in the community.

I am 20 years old and a full-time wheelchair user who is dependent on others for my personal care needs.

I am a sociable person and enjoy attending club activities, going to music events and eating out.

I am a fun loving and confident young man who enjoys the company of others so the successful applicant would need to be sociable, outgoing, enthusiastic and committed in their work.

Key Duties

To carry out all aspects of personal care including bathing and toileting which requires hoisting. Hoisting experience is preferred but initial training and shadowing could be provided if necessary.
To assist with eating and drinking both at home and eating out in restaurants.
To accompany me to any educational activities, health appointments or social events in my adapted vehicle as required.
A valid driving license is essential for this post.

Terms
Starting pay is £14 per hour.

12 hours per week initially with a requirement to work on a Monday and alternate Fridays with the opportunity for additional hours to cover annual leave.
