Progress Teachers are supporting a lovely school in
Burton-On-Trent to appoint a dynamic and dedicated
Cover Supervisor with a
specialism in Geography to deliver lessons and ensure pupils continue to make positive progress during a period of staff absence.

Key Responsibilities:

-
Offer individualised or small group interventions to pupils who might need additional support, ensuring that reasonable adjustments are made from lesson-to-lesson in order to support them to the best of your ability.

Engage in CPD to ensure that any assessment and marking carried out can be completed accurately.

Maintain clear communication with colleagues regarding student progress, behaviour, and any issues that may arise during the day.

Consistently complete necessary administrative tasks, such as taking registers and reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Geography or a relevant field.
Knowledge of GCSE English specifications is highly advantageous.
Enhance DBS registered to the update service
Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage and engage with students effectively.
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
