Job description:

This offer concerns the position of "Electrical Expert".

The position will be belonging to the "Construction Management Team".

The position will, on behalf on NNB (HPC), drive the MEH Alliance in order to secure the preparation of construction activities
- **This role is based in Hinkley Point C site (Bridgewater, UK)**:

  • For this role we are offering a salary of £53,000
  • £58,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits:

Main Activities
Electrical Expert will, on behalf on NNB (HPC), drive, help and support MEH Alliance in order to:

  • To reduce schedule impact due to preparation gap and technical difficulties
  • To deals with electrical technical issues linked to installation phase,
  • To support the preconstruction planning and coordination for the electrical systems and equipment and to coordinate with the other installations within the MEH and other Programmes,
  • To supporting the development of the Level 3 schedule on the Electrical activities. He will provide some support to the MEH Alliance and the site construction in the area of temporary construction electrical supply network, and resolution of emergent issues,


The CMT engineers will perform their work under the daily supervision and guidance of other members of the CMIT, which may belong to companies other than Edvance.


The CMT engineers will however fully remain Edvance staff, and will, along with the services provided to the Client, develop Edvance knowledge on EPR commissioning/erection activities, and feed Edvance back offices with OPEX, either related with the commissioning/erection documents or the design itself, in view of future projects.

The CMT engineers will in any case have an Edvance manager, also part of the CMT, to which they will report on performance of the services due to the client, and that remains a route for escalation of issues in their daily services to the client.


Profile:


Technical Skills:


  • Electrical Engineer with an important background in erection/maintenance scope on NI side.
  • A successful experience in project management is also expected.
  • A strong technical interest, particularly in the field of construction or maintenance of industrial installations is required for this position.
  • A mastery of computer tools is essential : manipulation of massive data under Excel, ability to evolve in CAD/CAD environments, 3D model

Experience:


  • Experienced profile : at least 8 years of experience including 4 years recognized in equivalent missions.
  • Strong adaptability and autonomy.
  • Strong interest for new challenges and sizing projects.
  • Ability to translate field operational experience and integrate REX.

Languages (level):


  • Fluent English required: writing technical documents and daily exchanges in English.
  • French advantageous.
A first successful experience in multi-cultural and international projects would also be appreciated.
