An invaluable opportunity has arisen for a new
- recently qualified accountant to join a well-known brand.

Working with one of the company's leading subsidiaries you will have a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities whilst also interacting with Group Finance at HQ.

The business is targeted to more than double revenue over the next couple of years.

As Financial Accountant you would play a pivotal role in this working closely with both the FC and FD to show where finance can really add value.

The Role

  • Preparation of monthend, periodend and yearend reporting packs for Group.
  • Work as a key member of the team that delivers financial statements and interim reports ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Deliver yearend financial accounting process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Stay up to date with business developments and the implementation of new accounting standards and associated business impacts.
  • Support the FC and FD on adhoc projects.
  • Support the wider finance function including more junior members of the team to ensure tasks are completed on time to deadline.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified/Finalist.
  • 3 years+ experience of working in a Financial Accounting Function or Audit/Accounts prep in Practice.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build businesses relationships quickly and effectively to deliver results.
  • A collaborator that can also work just as successfully as an individual.
