BDS are currently recruiting for community Housing Assistant/ driver to work for an established housing association based in and around the Stockport area.

This role involves collecting and delivering food from various sites in and around the Stockport Area.
Once collected you will need to allocate and store in the correct method, stacking shelves and fridges,

You will also be dealing with customers and clients who use the food service, taking cash payments, so we are looking for someone with great communication and interpersonal skills.

This role will suit someone from a care/support background, experience of working with vulnerable adults

Hours 8 hours per day Monday to Friday. Apx 09.00 / some flexibility required for deliveries / collections)

Requirements:

Full UK Drivers Licence
Over 21 for insurance purposes
Good communicator
Physically fit to assist with deliveries
Experience is essential

This is a temporary ongoing position, (possibly temp to perm)
