Pipeline Initiatives:


Social-Mobility based work is also key for the team as we continue to ensure our offerings are open to all regardless of background. We have a number of programmes and partners both internally (Philanthropy and the JPM Foundation) and externally (e.g. UpTree, Social Mobility Foundation). An important component of this deliverable is working to define and analyse key performance metrics, in order to monitor the success of our diversity initiatives, to optimise our approach going forward and report on impact.


Recruitment and Programme Management:


J.P. Morgan School Leaver Apprenticeships - J.P. Morgan has award-winning apprenticeships in Bournemouth, London and Glasgow which are a proven, complimentary alternative to the existing Campus offerings.


Responsibilities here involve:
defining headcount allocation; marketing programmes; working with the education providers to define courses; leading the selection process and placing apprentices with their businesses; acting as a central point of contact for our apprentice managers - guiding them throughout all stages of the recruitment process, providing training and assisting integrating apprentices into the business
- and supporting day to day management of apprentices. The ET team are the primary contact point for apprentices, the business and the schools.


J.P. Morgan Progressional Apprenticeships - J.P. Morgan are an industry leader in the design and implementation of various progressional apprenticeships, ensuring no member of our junior talent population has limited prospects based on entry pathway. The work here involves partnering with business stakeholder and external training providers to implement and drive high quality Apprenticeships across our businesses; stakeholder management; and leading the recruitment & placement of apprentices.


Other responsibilities:


  • Continue to expand our virtual offerings, building on the work done by the team during lockdown in 2020 which saw us deliver to over 3000 students over the summer
  • Manage budget for the team, ensuring value for money in all activities
  • Identify and prepare Marketing materials and opportunities
  • Work closely with local and regional government officials on policy around Emerging Talent
  • Challenge all aspects of established recruitment procedures to ensure innovation and uptodate approaches are in place throughout
  • Close partnership with key internal colleagues such as Philanthropy, Campus, Employer Brand, Press & Communications teams
  • Responding to any requests for assistance from the schools
  • Ensuring our materials are kept up to date and developing new ones

Passionate about developing young talent - When working with young students if you're not passionate, neither are they. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building and implementing innovative strategies which align with business priorities, and attract and retain top junior talent within the organisation.


Able to build partnerships - This role requires someone who is experienced in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, partnering with senior internal stakeholders to understand their business needs, as well as external vendors and partners.
