Job Title:
Team Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to join our team at Crags Snacks (The Crag Snacks & Coffee Company Ltd), located inside The Reach Climbing Wall in Woolwich.
As a Cafe Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafe, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
You will be expected to lead by example, and work collaboratively with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing cafe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the cafe, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management & social media posting.
- Train and supervise cafe staff, ensuring they follow standard recipes and procedures, and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure the cafe environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including setting up and breaking down equipment, cleaning and restocking supplies, and securing the premises
- Manage the POS till system, handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and ensure cash management procedures are followed
- Manage inventory levels, place orders, and receive deliveries in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experience
- Address customer concerns and complaints with a positive attitude and effective communication
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and promotions to answer customer questions and make recommendations
- Participate in training and development opportunities as provided by the company
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide great customer service and lead a team
- Dedication to the highest standards of food hygiene and quality of food preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Flexible schedule to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Interest in climbing or other outdoor activities is a plus
