Description

Job Title -Senior Support Worker**
Location - Albert Road, Harborne, Birmingham B17 0AN

Salary -£11.42**
Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - 35hrs

About the role

  • Build relationships with customers we support, which are open and two ways, and approached in an holistic manner.
  • Support customers to undertake their daily routines and appointments, shopping
  • Establish methods of communication with customers, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Accurately report and/or record work activities
  • Support with activities of daily living where required
  • Support to budget finances where required

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

  • Experience working within a Care environment (is an Advantage but not essential as full induction training will be given)
  • A warm hearted, friendly manner, patience, kindness and good communication, a willingness to help others, requiring patience
  • An open and honest character, respectful and celebrate diversity, connect with colleagues and residents to celebrate uniqueness.
  • The ability to be a natural care giver and someone who can communicate in an open and honest manner with your colleagues, residents and their visitors
  • Be empathetic to customers needs and their feelings
