Your New Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Manager/ Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial Team on our FDIS RAMS Central and North contracts managing the MOD housing stock.
This role will be remote with occasional travel although the position would be better suited to someone based in the midlands, East Anglia or north of England where most of the assets are located.
This role would suit an experienced Commercial Manager/ Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take a step up into commercial management.
You will be responsible for:
- Procuring, tendering and evaluating works up to £250K
- Reporting progress against a delivery programme
- Managing the supply chain
- Ensuring in house corporate governance is followed
- Establishing schedule of rates and bench marking for repetitive works
- Interfacing with both the client and our operational teams
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong commercial and finance acumen
