Location:
Huddersfield (Pearl House)
- there will be a requirement to attend any HOMEs properties in Kirklees


Fusion Housing manages a number of properties in Huddersfield, Calderdale & Wakefield for single people and families who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We are looking for someone with experience in housing management services, or Housing Officers, to work as part of a team and take on responsibility for a group of these properties.


The role includes:


  • Supporting people, finding out about their life journey and working together to make their goals a reality through support planning.
  • Understanding the effects that homelessness has on households.
  • Being understanding and supportive when times are tough; you'll become that friendly face for someone to talk and listen to, whilst supporting the client to tenancy sustainment.
  • Having difficult conversations with the people you support; being open and honest about the challenges and putting a plan in place together about what to do next.
  • Working with people from different parts of the community, showing a passion and an interest in learning new things
  • Knowledge of the housing system and experience of working with people who may struggle with their mental wellbeing, substance use or staying out of prison.
  • Variety day to day where you will be able to plan your diary when needed and recognise what's important to the people you support.
  • Signups and relets of tenancies in your area

The qualities we're looking for:


  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a sense of curiosity and imagination.
  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast paced closeknit housing team which is supportive of each other and happy to get stuck in.
  • The ability to work on own initiative
