We are currently seeking a Library & Learning Resources Team Leader to join The Bedford College Group at our Dunstable Campus.

As a Team Leader, you play an important role in the success of our students through:

Libraries are busy environments used by all students to further their learning aims, sometimes with competing requirements, the team need direction and support to maintain a supportive learning environment.
Maintaining a suitable environment and services to support the learning needs of all students
Coordinating and prioritising the work of the team while supporting and training students and teaching staff in the use of library facilities and systems.
Providing academic support to students in 11, small group, and class sessions as part of the study skills programme
Ensuring the book and learning resources stock matches curriculum needs
Promoting the library resources to enhance achievements amongst students
To manage, support and develop library staff working at Central Bedfordshire College site.
Educated to A Level standard
English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year

About The Bedford College Group

The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
