Rutherford Briant are recruiting for a Financial Controller for a highly successful international firm based in Enfield.
The company have doubled in size and turnover over the last 12 months as they have recently been taken over by a PE firm, and they are now looking to double in size once again.
They are offering a competitive salary of up to £60,000, the chance to build the team further as the business expands and would consider people looking to make the step-up into a Financial Controller role.
What you will do:
This role is integral to supporting the CFO, Senior Leadership Team and Board with financial information, analysis, and processes.
Leading the growth of a small to deliver the day to day and the long-term strategy, it is imperative there is substantial experience of working strategically, while leading a team.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
- Supporting the preparation of all budget and financial forecasting and reporting, understanding the variances and being able to interpret them for all stakeholders
- Overseeing the preparation and publishing all monthly financial statements and data
- Creating reports (annually and monthly) for various stakeholders that interprets information on results, trends, and forecasts
- Overview of all financial processes to ensure fully compliant
- Overseeing all audit processes
- Reviewing all financial data to identify opportunities and communicating effectively with all affected stakeholders
- Working closely with the SLT and Operational stakeholders to interpret data and understand all opportunities, impacts and cost control
- Leading the Finance Team, supporting all learning and development and managing the team day to day
- Support the financial strategy and decision making of the business
- Support the CFO with all financial data and information interpretation, including, Board reports, SLT reports, forecasting and budgeting
What you will need:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified
- Previous experience of working within the accountancy and finance sector.
- Strong Excel and financial leadership skills
- Previous experience in producing regular reports and analysis.
- Previous experience in dealing directly with key stakeholders.
