Description
HR Recruit is currently recruiting an experienced Part-Time HR Advisor (22.5 hours) for our SME.

The role is located in both Cramlington and Blyth and will report into the Operations Manager. Being the first contact for HR queries, it is an exciting time to join this expanding SME.


Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for company internal HR issues
  • Carry out general administration tasks including organizing and maintaining personnel record, update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave) and preparing HR documents, like employment contracts and HR policy documents
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR systems and practices
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Support in disciplinary procedures
  • Assist with the recruitment process
  • Completing the HR paperwork during Induction
  • Handling Payroll, Wage, and Holiday queries.
  • Running daily absence reporting and liaising with management
  • Conducting return to work interviews
  • Support the implementation of HR strategies and policies to proactively support the business objectives
  • Support the implementation of major change projects, processes and programmes across the business area

Person Specification

  • At least 3 years generalist HR experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of employmentrelated laws and regulations
  • Experience of prioritising workload, time management and dealing with conflicting priorities with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Handson with a cando attitude
  • Must have a full UK driving license
In return you will receive a salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 (FTE).


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per hour
