Join Our Packing Team:

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our friendly and expanding Night-Shift Packing team These exciting vacancies have been brought about as the result of us winning a major new contract

These exciting new positions have an intended start date of _January 8th 2024_ and command a starting base salary of £11.92 per hour, with an enhanced rate of £14.90 per hour.

This combination of base and enhanced rates delivers a representative _£558 weekly_ gross Furthermore, our new pay banding system allows opportunities to increase this even further as you progress through your training

Sunday Night to Thursday Night (23:00 to 07:30 approx.)_

a company induction day (09:30 to 15:30) will be required attendance the week before
enhanced rate is for hours between 8pm and 6am and for hours over 40 per week

Key Responsibilities:

- _Product Quality Assurance_: Your role involves ensuring the quality of the product by meticulously checking for the right size, shape, and adherence to product specifications.
- _Packing Process_: You'll be responsible for efficiently packing finished products into boxes, precisely following the product specification.
- _Conveyor Belt Operation_: Placing full boxes onto the packing conveyor belt is part of your responsibility, where the boxes proceed to be securely taped shut, weighed, and accurately labelled.
- _Box Assembly and Maintenance_: You'll also be responsible for assembling boxes, as well as changing tape reels and printer reels to maintain seamless packing operations.
- _Packing Robots_: Depending on the product line, you may have the exciting opportunity to program and set up our state-of-the-art Packing Robots. This includes optimizing the spacing of pastries to ensure precise detection by the robot and rechecking any products rejected by the robot.
- _Palletizing and Wrapping_: Your role extends to palletizing and wrapping completed boxes of product, preparing them for dispatch in strict accordance with product specifications.
