Associate Environmental Consultant

A multidisciplinary planning consultancy who specialise in town planning and sustainable planning design are now looking for an associate or senior level Environmental Consultant to join them in their Bedford office.

The Company

The successful environmental planner / environmental consultant will join an established, national company offering services acrossLand Development, Urban Planning, Feasibility Studies, Mixed-use, social housing and more.

The Environmental Consultant Responsibilities

The experienced environmental consultant will offer their consultancy services across a range of sectors, residential, commercial, elderly housing and renewable energy.

Liaise with client base (landowners, developers, local authorities, charities):

IEMA membership required:

Advise on Biodiversity Net Gain:

Designing mitigation strategies:

Coordinate environmental surveys and ecological assessments:

Identify and secure land for Biodiversity Net gain for developers:

Promote new initiatives that provide delivery and funding for Biodiversity Net Gain:

Strong and up to date knowledge of environmental polices:

Maintain project admin:

5+ years' experience in related field, previous experience with Biodiversity Net Gain essential:

Relevant degree in environmental science:

Strong written and verbal communication

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £38,000 £42,000
